Offering comprehensive benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, and 401K along with our people - first approach sustains our reputation as a premier employer.<br />\n<br />\n<strong>PRISM</strong> is seeking a <strong>Software Engineer - DevOps</strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp; The position is <strong>hybrid with 3 days on site in Merrifield, VA</strong>.<br />\n<br />\n<strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Designs, builds, and modifies application software using a variety of programming languages and technologies, including Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, Java, microservices, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Implements multiple design patterns, including MVC, web services, SOA, and microservices. Integrates COTS products, uses APIs, interacts with data repositories, and manages system interfaces.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Manages legacy code and/or develops new code using container technologies such as Docker&nbsp;and Kubernetes.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Develops and executes unit tests to verify code meets functional requirements.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Identifies applicable secure coding techniques to harden code.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Resolves integration issues, vulnerabilities, and functional defects.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Minimizes technical debt by applying coding standards and best practices.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Works closely with Systems Analysts to build or modify software to meet the organization's business needs.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Develops all code to conform to DEA system security requirements.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:</strong><br />\nActive Secret Clearance Required<br />\n<br />\n<strong>PRISM is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
