\n\nConnect Search is recruiting for a Part-Time Assistant Controller to support the Finance team of a manufacturing company. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys hands-on accounting work and wants a schedule that offers flexibility throughout the month.

\nCompensation: $50-60/hr
Flexible, part-time schedule with a concentrated workload during month-end close
\n\tApproximately 4 days during month-end/beginning-of-month closing
\n\tApproximately 8 hours per week during the remainder of the month
\n\tMeaningful work supporting financial accuracy, reporting, and accounting operations
\n\tCompensation based on experience
\n\tSupport month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
\n\tMaintain general ledger accounts and assist with financial statement preparation
\n\tReview financial information, research discrepancies, and assist with financial analysis
\n\tProcess accounts payable and support accounts receivable activities
\n\tAssist with internal controls, documentation, and other accounting projects
\n\t10+ years of accounting or finance experience
\n\tStrong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close
\n\tStrong Excel skills and attention to detail
\n\tAbility to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
\n\tManufacturing, group-structure, or international company experience is a plus
\n\tBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
